It might be not right to call this flagship store as a museum. But I want to call it Droog design museum because there are all the things related to Droog design. Fortunately, the admission fee is free: it's a retail shop, indeed. I just wondered what differences there are between design shops and design museums: you can buy displayed things in a shop while you can't buy them in a museum. Is it right? Anyway, I think it is worth visiting the museum to anyone who visits Amsterdam. It's total different experience to directly see and touch (unfortunately touching is not allowed but you can do it stealthily) compared with seeing them in the book. That is as valuable as smoking marihuana or eating magic mashroom there. Just go! You can find open hours in the above picture. I would be very disappointed if you just see and leave. Buy anything to support poor designers: they accept credit card and in addition you can get some tax back.

드록디자인의 본점을 뮤지엄이라고 부르는 것에 딴지를 걸고 싶은 사람이 있을꺼다. 내 맘이다. 그곳에는 거의 모든 드록디자인 제품들이 있기때문에 드록디자인뮤지엄이라고 부르고 싶다. 다행히, 입장료 없다. 실은 가게이기 때문에. 순간 디자인샵과 디자인뮤지엄 사이의 차이점이 궁금해진다. 아마도 샵에서는 전시된 제품을 살 수 있지만, 뮤지엄에서 그럴 수 없다. 맞나? 여튼 암스텔담에 갈 일이 있다면 가볼만 하다. 책에서 보는 거랑 직접 보면서 만져보는 것은 완전히 다른 경험이다 (불행히도 만지는 것은 안되지만 몰래 만져보면 된다). 암스텔담에서 대마초 피고 매직머쉬룸 먹는 것 만큼 가치있다. 가봐라. 오픈시간은 위 사진에 나와있다. 신용카드도 되고 세금환급도 되니 디자인계 발전을 위해 보지만 말고 좀 사줘라.
