The extension, the work of architect Zaha Hadid. It seems to be called 'the extension' because I suppose it is just the extended part of Ordrupgaard art museum found in 1918 in a Copenhagen suburb. I was told it is a snail-shaped extension. It looks like a dolphin head to me, though. It is designed to add galleries for special exhibitions. I was told there are artworks of Danish and French 19th- and 20th-century realist and naturalist including Degas, Gaugauin, Manet and Renoir in the museum. I don't know much about the architect but I like this work a lot.

자하 하디드의 작품, The extension. 이것은 생각컨데 1918년 코펜하겐 교외에서 세워진 Ordrupgaard 아트뮤지엄의 신축으로 연장된 부분이기 때문에 The extension이라고 불리는 것 같다. 이 건축물의 모양이 달팽이 모양이라는데, 내 눈에는 돌고래 머리처럼 보인다. 이 The extension는 특별전시를 위한 갤러리들을 위한 것이라고 한다. 드가, 고갱, 마네 그리고 르느와르를 포함한 19, 20세기의 프랑스, 덴마크 realist들과 naturalist들의 작품들이 전시되어 있다고 한다. 자하 하디드를 잘 알지는 못하지만 이 건축물 마음에 든다.
