We sit in front of this screen for a while feeling like becoming an idiot until meeting usuable screen. Why do we have to see this? Which is nothing to do with us. There are many other things to show instead of this black screen.

The thing is Windows has been designed by engineers who want to see if all processes are going well. I am a mac user as well. :D
