I have had cheese fondue in Luzern, gluehwein in Frankfurt, and crepe in Paris before. I have never eaten the delicious ones in any other than Gael's. Nothing to say! It's a shame that you only can imagine the foods visually here.
Numbering from left to right and from up and down in pictures above
1. Starter: Onion soup
2. Burner for fondue: Gael's grandmother passed this fascinating oil burner on to him
3 & 4. Cheese fondue and 80% alcohol: this alcohol is too strong to drink: your throat will get hurt. It is for burning things for cooking (e.g. see below)
5. how to make gluehwein (1): prepare red wine with cinnamon, orange, and so on. boil one time and then put a lump of sugar on the supporter laid on the pot. Pour the 80% alcohol on the sugar
6. how to make gluehwein (2): burn it (it is recommended to prepare a fire extinguisher next to this)
7. The gluehwein at last: looks like oriental medicine but taste great!
8. Guys with humor: we had a lot of fun with the tasty foods. Thanks Gael, Angella and Liou. I only missed to take a picture of crepe because it was so sweet
