The gun show ad at a bus stop in Chandler, Arizona. The field where gunmen riding horses had run were paved with asphalt and horses were replaced by automobiles. The United States where only gunmen are left at the end. They don't want to put guns down even though the world changed. As a result, often firearm accidents. The past must be something that everyone miss.

아리조나 챈들러 어느 버스정류장의 총기쇼 광고. 총잡이들이 말타고 달리던 들판은 아스팔트로 덮여지고 말들은 자동차로 교체되었다. 그래서 결국 총잡이들만 남겨진 미국이라는 나라. 세상이 바뀌었는데도 총을 내려놓을 생각을 안하는 그들. 그 결과로 벌어지는 잦은 총기사고들. 과거란 모든 사람이 그리워하는 어떤 특별한 것임에 틀림이 없어 보인다.

A busy city, Bangkok. There are big differences between the city center and the outskirt of the city. Typical urban look in developing countries. All the ways people go through in the busy center have been used for capitalism. People eyes don't have time to take a rest with eye-catching colors and designs. It might be an effective way of promoting products but people might have no time to turn their head to see them on the staircase because of the busyness in modern society. Perhaps, it works to free and curious tourists like me.

붐비는 도시. 방콕. 도심과 도시외곡은 아주 큰 차이들이 보인다. 그 대조는 개발도상국에서의 전형적인 도시 모습이다. 붐비는 도심에서 사람들이 지나다니는 모든 길들은 자본주의에 의해 사용되어왔다. 시선을 사라잡는 색들과 디자인들로 사람들의 눈은 쉴 틈이 없다. 제품 홍보를 위한 효과적인 방법일 수도 있지만, 현대사회의 그 바쁨때문에 사실 계단에서 그 광고들을 보기위해 사람들이 머리를 돌릴 틈이 있을까. 나같이 한가하고 호기심 많은 관광객이라면 몰라도....
