Dutch people intend not to hide anything related to minorities in their society such as deformed children like the picture above. What is regarded as shameful things in Korean society are not in the Netherlands. I could feel his parents' pride and love as reading what they said about their son, Daniel.

네덜란드 인간들은 사진에서 보듯 기형아로 태어난 아이들과 같은 사회적 약자들과 관련된 어떤 것에 대해서도 감추려고 하지 않는다. 한국 사회에서는 의례 수치스러운 것으로 간주되는 것들이 네덜란드에서는 부끄러운 일이 아니다. 다니엘의 부모님들의 말에서 장애 아들에 대한 그들의 사랑과 자부심을 느낄 수 있었다.

The Bob campaign originated in Belgium in a collaboration between government, the police and the Belgium beer companies. The campaign focuses on a designated driver approach to reduce risk of car accidents due to drunk drivers. For instance, when you and your friends are invited to a party at night, you want to go there by car. Then, you designate a guy out of your group, who won't drink and later bring the drunken rest of the group home safely (bad luck to him or her, though). Since its start, the campaign has worked more and more. Nowadays most of Dutch people considers drinking and driving to be unacceptable (although there are still drunk drivers). Instead of cliche campaign every year end, what if making the campaign more interesting and acceptable in South Korea like the Bob campaign? It might not work in South Korea because it is very uncomfortable to exclude a guy in the collectivism culture, though.
봅 캠페인은 정부, 경찰, 맥주회사들의 협력으로 처음에 벨기에에서 시작되었다. 이 캠페인은 운전자를 한명 지정하는 것인데, 예를 들면 여러분과 여러분의 친구들이 파티에 초대를 받았는데 차로 갈려고 할때 이 때 그 멤버들 중에서 한명을 지정하는 하는 것. 물론 그 친구는 술도 못마시고 나중에 나머지 술취한 친구들을 집으로 잘 모셔줘야함 (그 친구에게는 정말 안됐지만). 캠페인이 시작된 이후로 점점 더 효과를 보고 있다고 한다. 요즘 네덜란드 사람들에겐 음주운전은 너그러이 이해되지 못하고 있다 (그런 와중에도 여전히 음주운전자들은 있다). 매년 연말마다 하는 진부한 음주운전예방 캠페인 대신 우리나라에도 봅 캠페인처럼 좀 재미있고 받아들이기 쉽게 하면 안될까? 이런 방식의 캠페인이 안통할 수도 있다. 왜냐면 한국은 집단주의 문화라서 무리 중의 한명을 배제한다는 것은 굉장히 불편한 일이라서.

미국사람들의 문화적 차이를 좀더 연구해야 확신할 수 있겠지만, Obama가 Hillary를 이길 것 같다. 물론 웹디자인과 image making면의 관점에서... Hillary가 흑인들의 지지를 더 얻을 계획이었다면, 이 웹디자인은 실패했다.

I can't say anything yet about the result of this exciting campaign before studying American culture but at least Obama is supposed to win Hillary only having a look at the web design and image making in the websites. I think the website of Hillary seems to fail to get supports from the black.
