The route to get here wasn't that simple. First of all, we drove from The Hague to the airport at Eindhoven. We got on board and flew to Milan. Then we rented a car and drove from Milan to Venice again for two hours. We parked the car at Mestre, the nearest inland city from Venice because parking fee is much cheaper then the island. Then, we took a train to Santa Lucia railway station where is the starting point for traveling Venice. In front of the station, we took a waterbus called vaporetti. It brought us to a boat stop near our old Venetian apartment. We left home at 7.00 am and got the final destination at 4.00 pm. What I learned from it is "The cheaper we pay for anything, the longer it takes to get". I don't recommend this way of travel to those who belive 'Time is money'.
베니스까지의 루트는 그렇게 간단하지 않았다. 우선, 우리는 헤이그에서 아이트호벤공항까지 운전했고, 밀란행 비행기를 탔다. 그리고 밀란에서 자동차를 렌트해서 베니스까지 2시간 운전을 또했다. 베니스보다 주차비가 훨씬 저렴한 베니스에서 가장 가까운 내륙도시 메이스트레에 주차를 하고, 다시 베니스 여행의 출발점인 산타루치아 역으로 향하는 기차를 탔다. 역 앞에서 바포레띠로 불리는 수상버스를 타고, 숙소인 옛날 베니스 아파트로 향했다. 아침 7시에 집을 나와 오후 4시가 되어서야 최종목적지에 도착했다. 이 경험을 통해 배운 것 하나, "뭐든지 더 싸게 지불할 수록, 더 오래 걸린다". 시간이 돈이라고 생각하는 사람들에겐 이런 루트는 비추다.

우와. 여름 휴가 지대로 댕겨오셨네요. 부러워요. 한국은 덥고 습하고 찝찝하고, 회사는 짜증 잇빠이고... 떠나고 싶습니다.
