But actually the red 'X' is the logo of the auto camping site, which is called KOA. They put it on every signboard of their sites. Company's logos shouldn't be necessarily on products manufactured by the companies. The best design I think is to design products in a way that people know where they comes from without their logos. So to speak, designing to keep products having manufacturers' product identities. e.g. SONY style. 처음 보기에는 사진속의 싸인들은 모두 "이건 하면 안돼요!!"라고 말고 있는 것 같다. 싸인보드 위의 빨간색으로된 X 표시 때문에. 그러나 사실 이 빨간 X 표시는 '무엇을 하지마시오'가 아니라 KOA라고 불리는 자동차캠핑장의 로고다. 실제로 이 회사 캠핑장들의 모든 사인보드 위에는 모두 이런 'X'가 있다. 회사나 제작사의 로고들이 사실 반드시 그들이 생산한 모든 제품에 들어갈 필요는 없다. 내 생각에는 사람들이 그 회사들의 로고를 표시하지 않아도 그 제품이 어느 회사제품인지 알수 있도록 디자인하는 것이 잘된 디자인이라고 생각한다. 즉, 제품들이 제조사의 아이덴티를 가지도록 계속 디자인하는 것이 중요하다고 생각한다 (예를 들면, 소니 스타일 같이) @ arizona in may 2009  German information design efficiently makes use of colors to help viewers to easily recognize information. Usually a color or a couple of colors have been used in signboards since many colors might have people confused. However, in addition to use of the various colors, distinct shapes such as rectangular and circle are applied as their backgrounds in order to make the information signs well distinguished in this design. This enhances visual perception of people who look for certain information in the signboard. This colorful information design might also inspire vivid atmosphere into grey-colored German subway stations. I think German design is very scientific and expresses contrast pretty well. 독일의 정보디자인은 색상을 잘 사용함으로써 그 정보를 보는 사람들이 쉽게 정보를 인식할 수 있게 해준다. 일반적으로 사인보드들에 있어 색상들은 한 가지 아니면 많아야 두 가지밖에 사용되지는 않는다. 색상들이 오히려 혼란을 줄 수도 있기 때문이다. 그러나 이 정보디자인에서는 다양한 색상들이 사용되었으며, 또한 사각형 그리고 원과 같은 모양이 서로 다른 정보들을 구별하기 위한 배경으로 적용되었다. 이는 사인보드에서 어떤 특정 정보를 찾는 사람들의 시각적 인식력을 높여준다. 또한 이러한 칼라풀한 정보디자인은 회색빛 일색의 독일 지하철역들에 생생함을 불어넣어 줄 수도 있다. 독일 디자인은 건축에서도 그러하듯 아주 과학적이면서 대비효과를 아주 잘 표현하고 있다. @ a subway station at hamburg in december 2008 |
