I saw many certificates stuck to everywhere in the taxi: even a Buddha over your head in the taxi. They doesn't seem to consider a passenger who sits on the passenger seat: the certificates might obstruct his/her view through the window shield (I don't think a regulation, related to taxis, orders to do so...but it might be possible). They don't seem to like a simple style of interior. On the other hand, liking certificates is a typical phenomenon which has been often observed in high hierarchy society such as Thailand.  

택시 안의 모든 곳에 붙어있는 각종 증명서들이 보인다. 심지어 머리 위에는 부처의 그림이 붙어있다. 조수석에 앉는 승객들은 전혀 고려하지 않는 것 같다. 앞유리창에 붙어있는 그 증명서들이 그(녀)의 시야를 가릴 수 있기 때문에...(태국의 택시관련 법이 앞유리창에 각종 증명서들을 덕지덕지 붙이라고 규정하진 않았을 것 같음.. 그렇수도 있지만)그들은 심플한 인테리어는 좋아하지 않는 것 같다. 한편, 증명서를 좋아한다는 것은 태국과 같은 상하위계질서가 엄격한 사회에서 자주 관찰되는 전형적 모습이다.
