 Whenever the long long summer is about to end, a good thing is that humid and sticky wind disappears and cool wind finally blows to my cheeks. The street was filled with many people but the thought that the fall is just before me made me happy. These days, I miss the wind and the blue sky at that time a lot. 길고 긴 여름이 거의 끝나갈 때마다, 기분 좋은 것은 습하고 끈적끈적한 바람이 사라지고 시원한 바람이 내 볼을 간지럽힌다는 것이다. 길은 사람들로 북적북적 했지만 가을이 바로 내 앞에 있다는 생각에 행복해졌다. 요즘 그때의 바람과 푸른 하늘이 무척이나 그립다. @ seoul in august 2009  I went to the seaside: in winter to confront with the cold wind and the roar of the waves, and in summer to be like the sea. It was an evening of summer 2009. The sea was calm and the waves were still. I was like the sea at that time. Standing on the breakwater, I felt a mild breeze and appreciated the color of the evening. Since that happened, I like the summer evening sea more than the sea in winter. Like seals who dry their bodies on rocks at sea, they love to lay on anywhere there is sunlight. Typical public chairs and benches with angles are not enough to meet their desire. Perhaps all of them want to take a rest on this kind of curvy one, feeling comfortable in the middle of summer. Interestingly, these play a role as public sculpture in the period except for summer. I think sculpture doesn't have to stand only for visual pleasure...touching and feeling are another way of interaction with it. 여름이 오면, 유럽사람들은 햇살에 미친다. 바다의 물개들 바위에서 몸을 말리듯 그들은 햇볕이 있으면 어느 곳이나 눕고 싶어한다. 일상에서 보이는 공공 의자들과 벤치들은 주로 각져있어 그 사람들의 욕구를 만족시키기에는 많이 부족해보인다. 아마도 그들 모두는 사진에서와 같이 한여름 속에서 편안함을 줄 수 있는 이런 종류의 곡선진 것들 위에서 휴식을 취하고 싶어 하리라. 흥미롭게도, 여름을 제외한 기간에는 이것들은 야외 조각 작품의 역할을 한다. 조각품이 만질 수 없는 시각적 즐거움만 주는 것은 사치다. @ hamburg in december 2008  @ pattaya in october 2008
 3월의 끝자락에서 눈이 내린다. 낮이 점점 길어지고 있다. 저녁 7시가 되어야 어둑어둑해진다. 몇일 전부터 썸머타임이 적용되어 이젠 8시가 되야 해가 진다. 갑자기 낮이 아주 길어진 느낌이다. It snows at the end of March. Daytime is longer and longer nowaday. it became dark starting from 7 pm only a couple days ago. However it is dark after around 8 pm thanks to summer time now.
