The pinky steel structure has things to stand for this region on its head: "A" mark on mountains which means "A"rizona, maybe a landmark building in Tucson, and San Xavier mission church (from left to right). It doesn't only provide information but also a piece of fun to those who look at the board.
핑크색 철구조물의 위에는 이 지역을 상징하는 것들을 보여주고 있다: 아리조나를 의미하는 산 위의 A 마크, 투손을 상징하는 어떤 건축물, 그리고 산자비어 미션교회 (왼쪽부터 오른쪽으로). 이 보라빛 녀석은 이 안내판을 보는 사람들에게 정보뿐만 아니라 재미까지 제공하고 있다.

I was waiting for food I had ordered at the garden of a Mexican restaurant in Tucson. I was curios about a PET bottle on the table, which was fully filled in with tiny pebbles. I suppose sometimes it seems to be windy out there and the restaurant needs this sort of heavy thing so that the menu boards on the table are not blown away. It didn't appear very nice on the table but it was interesting that the bottle was differently used.
투손의 어느 멕시칸 레스토랑의 정원에서 주문한 음식을 기다리다가, 테이블 위에 놓여있는 페트병에 눈이 갔다. 이 페트병은 작은 자갈들로 채워져있었는데, 추측컨데 정원이 바깥에 있다보니 때론 바람이 심하게 불어서 테이블 위의 메뉴판들이 바람에 날아가지 않도록 해줄 이런 종류의 무거운 물건이 필요했나보다. 식탁이라는 정서에서는 그렇게 좋은 아이디어로 보이지 않지만, 페트병이 또 다른 용도로 사용된다는 것이 흥미롭다.
