 When they decide to do something, they do in a large scale. They seem to love large scaled ones like they prefer large cars. I think this came from their natural environment: they have a huge land, mountains, lakes, and so on. So do they. 그들이 어떤 것을 하기로 결정했을 때, 그 일들은 대규모로 진행된다. 덩치가 큰 차를 선호하듯 그들은 대규모를 사랑하는 것 같다. 이런 경향은 그들의 자연환경으로부터 연유된 것 같다. 즉, 그들은 큰 땅덩어리, 큰 산들, 호수들, 기타등등을 가졌고.. 그래서 그들 또한 그래야 하는 것 같다. @ california in june 2009  A yoghurt having an oval shape. Thanks to its curved form, both big and tea spoons can be easily used to eat this. Usually, yoghurts sold in South Korea and the Netherlands have square pillar shapes with round edges and they are friendly designed to be consumed not with big spoons but with small tea ones. In this sense that the one in the picture is friendly to both types of spoons, it is a sort of universal design. 타원형으로 생긴 요거트. 이 녀석은 전체 면들이 커브로 되어 있어, 큰 숟가락이나 작은 티스푼으로도 요거트를 떠먹기가 편하다. 한국이나 네덜란드에서 팔리는 요거트들은 보통 모서리만 커브가 들어간 정사각기둥의 형태여서 큰 숟가락으로는 떠먹기가 쉽지않고 오직 작은 티스푼에 최적화된 디자인이다. 이러 측면에서 미국의 이 요거트통은 작은 숟가락 및 큰 숟가락 사용자를 위한 유니버셜 디자인이지 않을까? @ chandler in may 2009  "Please don't throw any stone below" This sign was on the fence of the bridge over the chasm but actually there was no stone to throw at all on the bridge because it was very long (the glen was just below the middle of the bridge) and paved by cement. After all, it implies there are some people who carry stones before entering on the bridge. Is it our mentality to feel like throwing something down when we stand on a very high place? "아래로 돌을 던지지 마세요" 이 사인은 어떤 협곡위의 다리 위 난간에 있었는데, 그 다리 위에는 던질 수 있는 돌을 찾을 수가 없다. 우선 그 다리가 아주 길었고 (협곡은 다리의 중간 아래에 위치), 시멘트로 포장되어 있었다. 결국, 다리가 시작되는 지점 이전에 있는 돌맹이들을 들고 오는 사람이 있다는 이야기... 높은 곳에서 서면 인간은 무엇인가를 아래로 던지고 싶은 심리가 있는 모양이다. @ marble canyon in april 2009  There are several national parks in Arizona and most of them are pretty extensively spread in the state. So, it is impossible to make fence around them. It doesn't seem clever to control visitors by gates or rangers in this area, either. An alternative can be like the peopleless entrance fee vending machine in the picture, appealing visitors' conscience. Since there is nobody to help visitors use the machine nearby, it has very clear and easy-to-understand instructions on the interface with picture and text together on each sticker. It isn't pretty...it is very well designed from usability perspective, though. 아리조나에는 여러개의 국립공원들이 있는데, 그들 대부분은 아리조나의 곳곳에 광활하게 펼쳐져 있다. 그런 이유로 그 공원들을 철망으로 둘러싸는 것은 불가능하며, 게이트나 관리인으로 방문객을 관리하는 것도 현명한 아이디어는 아닌 듯 하다. 하나의 대안으로 사진에서와 같은 입장료 무인판매기가 될 수있다. 그 판매기의 사용을 도와줄 사람이 주변에 없기때문에, 이 자판기는 그림과 글을 함께 넣은 스티커를 인터페이스에 적용, 아주 분명하고 이해하기 쉬운 사용법을 보여주고 있다. 사용편이성 측면에서 아주 잘 디자인되었다. 예쁘지는 않아도... @ marble canyon in april 2009 |
